As a homeowner and father of second and fifth grade girls, I share our community's desire for a strong public school system. I've spent my career in public service since graduation from U.C. Berkeley and served as a Trustee for more than five years. I've worked with amazing teachers, wonderful and supportive parents, and involved community members--all essential to the success of our schools.

Together, we've added technology and modernized our classrooms. We've collaborated with Belmont and Redwood City to address common concerns, such as traffic flow, pedestrian safety, and playing fields. We've implemented a new strategic plan to focus our growth, opening one new middle school with another under consideration. And thanks to disciplined spending, we've improved our fiscal outlook, including a recent bond refinancing that will save taxpayers millions of dollars.

The results: our schools are more popular than ever, with low class sizes and rising test scores. That's good for our schools and good for our community. I want to continue to advance our chief priorities: recruiting and retaining the best teachers, maintaining our high educational standards, and expanding opportunities for our children. With your vote, we'll keep our schools on the right path.
