This information is provided by the candidate

I am running for City Council to help shape Burlingame's future in a thoughtful, sustainable way. Local government must be effective, responsive, and sensible--and its representatives must always consider a decision's long-term impact.

Why Emily?

1. I listen carefully, work tirelessly, build consensus, and confront challenges.

2. I drive measurable results.

  • as Burlingame Community for Education Foundation president, grew fundraising nearly $500,000 (40%) and doubled the number of active volunteers in two years.

  • served as a distinguished U.S. Army officer in Saudi Arabia, South Korea, and Texas.

  • worked as a top-performing business executive.

3. I am committed to our community.

  • First Presbyterian Nursery School Board past chair
  • St. Catherine of Siena Church, Girl Scouts, and Lincoln Elementary volunteer
  • United Methodist Church Nursery School music teacher

4. Burlingame can always count on me to lead with integrity, and to listen carefully to all sides of an issue before making decisions. I would be honored to serve on the Burlingame City Council.
