Candidate for
Director; Tamalpais Community Services District

Matt currently serves as a Director on the Tamalpais Community Services District (TCSD) Board providing oversight of Tam Valley's sanitary, refuse, recycling, green waste, parks and recreation community services. TCSD's services are crucial to Tam Valley's quality of life and Matt works to ensure that TCSD continues to be a positive force in the community.

Matt has lived in Tam Valley with his wife, two children and yellow lab since 2002. During this time, he has been an active volunteer at Earth Day Cleanup events, Creekside Fridays, community events at the Tam Valley Community Center, and coaching youth sports teams. He is the Tam Valley Elementary lead for Safe Routes to School and previously served as a TCSD Parks and Recreation Commissioner.

Through public service and extensive private sector management experience, Matt has developed the skills necessary to effectively serve the community on the TCSD Board. As a Director, he strives to provide strong representation for the community in a thoughtful, analytical and open-minded way. His worked is dedicated to ensuring that TCSD implements financially sound policies that reflect the community's short and long term priorites while delivering excellent community services to Tam Valley.
