"I care about NOVATO! I am not a politician, I am not running for political gain, my experience isn't focused on one issue. I am ONLY motivated by doing what is right for our community and I hope to continue to shape Novato in a way that honors our "hometown" roots while bringing the jobs and shopping opportunities our residents want. I understand firsthand the challenges we face and embrace the opportunities we can create to make Novato safer, better and stronger. We have important issues facing our community, the County and State. We need strong, serious people with commitment, vision and common sense to navigate us through. Our City Council members should have Novato's interests at heart, not their own or those of any other person or organization."

Gary is an honest man, who makes thoughtful decisions based on fiscal responsibility, sustainability and in the best interests of our City and its residents. Gary's demeanor and style is what we expect from a City Council Member ... someone who listens, speaks their mind and then works collaboratively to address the issues. He has a BS in Accounting and MBA in Finance from the University of San Francisco. Gary is a local businessman, active on Novato commissions and in organizations including:

• Former Novato Planning Commissioner

• Former Board Member, Downtown Novato Business Association (DNBA)
