Incumbent- Current Vice PresidentHaving attended local, public schools all my life I am a firm believer of a successful, public education. All three of by children attended college, one graduated from Santa Clara University with a business degree then continued to earn his Masters from San Jose State. Another child attended Hartnell College, San Jose State then finally Saint Mary's College and my youngest attended Fresno State. These children are all products of our public school education. Making sure all our children are able to accomplish their goals is one of my greatest goals. As a parent and now a grandmother, the children in Soledad, hold a special connection to my heart. Their success is my success. Our current board has made it a point to make sure "kids come first", and that is what you will see. Accountability is also being addressed as you know it's not always easy to have everyone on board but we need to retain quality teachers and staff who give us their all each day. |
