Amie Shepard is the third generation in her family to live in Hawthorne. Both of her parents were Cougar Alumni and her Grandfather was the Pastor at Oceangate Baptist Church for 25 years.

Amie is committed to returning Hawthorne to its place as a quaint, beachside community. Our Hawthorne history boasts of the creation of the Aerospace industry by Jack Northrup. Hawthorne is the "Home of the Beach Boys" band. Recent negative headlines, failing schools, and a rise in crime have tainted our image.

Through strategic business development, Amie plans to help regenerate the blighted economic areas of Hawthorne-focusing on major boulevards such as Hawthorne, Imperial, Inglewood & Prairie.

Amie is dedicated to education. As a graduate of the UCLA Basic Core Certification for ECE, Amie was able to have hands-on training in some of the most elite private schools in the South Bay. Her understanding of administrative, teaching & parent relations will allow her to bridge the gaps between students & learning. Amie believes that all students in Hawthorne deserve the very best education.

Prior to entering the luxury real estate industry, Amie spent several years focusing on business growth for small to medium size businesses in the South Bay. Her work at The Beach Reporter & Daily Breeze newspapers allowed to her the opportunity to hear the needs of owners and focus strategic marketing programs to help drive customer traffic.

As a Realtor, Amie has had the opportunity to work with some of the top leaders in Luxury Real Estate Sales. She has had the pleasure of participating in the sale of over $200 million in luxury homes. Additionally, she has a wealth of commercial experience selling a hotel, shopping plazas & office/retail space.

Revitalizing Hawthorne is Amie Shepard's core focus of her campaign. Amie believes in ethical government with integrity. She does not accept large donations from developers or business owners.

Amie lives in the Ramona neighborhood with her son, Jack and fiancé, Todd.
