EMPOWERMENT is Robert's Philosophy and Vision.

Empower Community: I firmly believe that we as a community should place the education of our youth and the challenges that come with that as our "Number One" priority. We must understand that our community is only as strong as our schools.

Empower Students: As a School Board Trustee, I understand the level of commitment in representing the AV High schools and serving as a positive role model. That is why I am actively involved in the schools engaging, educating and empowering students to set high standards in meeting their potential in achieving success.

Empower Parents: Recognizing that parents play the most important role in their student's success, I will work to open our schools on evenings and weekends to provide parents and opportunity to become more involved in their child's education. By turning empty classrooms into active learning centers will provide an added resource for both students and parents.

Empower Staff and Teachers: Staff and Teachers are the backbone of our education system. That is why it is imperative teachers receive the respect of increased salaries and benefits, higher professional development and recognition for the professional work they perform for our students and community.
