Emmanuel Chuma Obiora was born in 1945 and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from California State University Los Angeles (1981) and a Masters in Public Administration from California State University, Dominguez Hills in 1984. Over the past 31 years he has been a state services employee working diversely in various areas of Accounting, Auditing, Management and Transportation planning. He held the following positions in the following departments
1. - State Associate Transportation Planner with CALTRANS
2. - Past Senior Supervising Accounting Officer with CALTRANS
3. - Past Associate Tax Auditor for the State Board of Equalization
4. - IRS Certified Acceptance Agent
5. - Certified Fraud Specialist. Emmanuel is also a Realtor and owns his own Tax consulting Service in the City of Carson. He is therefore armed with adequate experience to serve our great City as will avail all his experience working for the State to the service of Carson. Mr. Obiora has been recognized by the Mayor of Carson as an honorary Citizen an honor he proudly cherishes. Emmanuel is an honest man with a lot of integrity and promises to bring new ideas and team spirit to the Carson City Council if elected. Manifesto
