Alex Torres is a long time San Jose District 4 resident of 13 years. Single father of two boys ages 17 and 24, both attend(ed) District 4 public schools. He is an active community and business leader positively impacting the quality of life for residents in San Jose spanning 25 years.

Alex Torres possesses a BA from Texas A& M University, Legal Fellowship from the University of Arizona.

Mr. Torres brings 25 years of communications, marketing, business, community, organizational, government/legislative development expertise and experience.

Mr. Torres has been recognized as local leader and previously named as Who's Who in Silicon Valley, Most Influential by the Business Journal-Silicon Valley, Bay Area's Most Influential Latinos, and Silicon Valley Hispanic Hero.

He has also received numerous awards and recognition from community leaders, municipalities, state and federal elected officials and non-profits for his leadership in the community.

Alex Torres served as Vice President, Community Relations Officer and Diversity Council Chairman for Wells Fargo covering Santa Clara, San Mateo, Santa Cruz, San Benito and Monterrey Counties.
