Candidate for
Board Member; Redondo Beach Unified School District

I am running for School Board because I believe deeply that as a society, we owe it to our children to provide them with the best possible education.

I graduated from Harvard with a degree in Economics in 2001. I lived in New York City for twelve years, working in finance for Bear Stearns and Citigroup, and I have managed my own investment firm since 2009. I now run this business in Redondo Beach, where I have lived since June 2013.

I am the father of two young boys, the older of whom is in kindergarten at Beryl Heights. My wife Saori and I care about the quality of Redondo's schools not just because our own kids will be educated there, but also because we love the city. Great schools are the foundation of great communities and I want to help contribute to building both.

I spend my entire day looking at income statements and balance sheets, judging whether companies are making smart decisions with their capital. I want to bring this same analytical rigor to the School Board.
