Candidate for
Council Member; City of Los Angeles; District 4

I am a father of four, and for over six years have dedicated myself to unpaid public service in our public schools and communities. I have founded two nonprofits and I run the prolific EnrichLA which has delivered over 70 edible gardens to schools across LAUSD and that offers an edible education program at 35 schools on a weekly basis.

As a runner up in the 2011 City Council election I was endorsed by the LA Times over the incumbent and have continued to receive positive press from the LA Times and in particular Steve Lopez. Because of my activism in public education, environmental, and historic issues, I have a get it done reputation. Very frankly, I think City Hall could do with a little bit of this urgency and enthusiasm.
