Andra's 17-years of experience on a community college campus uniquely equips her to be an effective member of the Board of Trustees from her very first day in office. She was a community college student herself, having attended L.A. Valley College when she was younger.

Andra is Board President for the National Women's Political Caucus, San Fernando Valley and serves as Vice Chair of the Legislative Committee for the West Hollywood Stonewall Democratic Club.
