Born and raised in the blue-collar city of McKeesport, Pennsylvania, I am the son of a union electrician and a registered nurse. I spent ten years attending Catholic schools before attending McKeesport Area High School where I lettered in varsity basketball. After high school, I went to The Pennsylvania State University where I received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering. My career as an engineer began at Lockheed Martin located in Northeast Pennsylvania where I designed electronics used in Navy submarines. I later worked for Westinghouse Electric Company, Eaton Corporation, and ENSCO Avionics Inc. where I was a Systems Engineer working on avionics equipment for BAE Systems located in Endicott, NY.

Currently, I live with my lovely wife, Laecy, and my beautiful baby girl, Lucy, in Susquehanna County. It is here where I have decided to begin serving my fellow Pennsylvanians by running for State Representative as a Democrat in District 111 of the Pennsylvania General Assembly. Due to the many problems that face not only my district, but also the State of Pennsylvania, I feel it is my obligation as well as my desire to work towards a change for the better.

The biggest problem in politics today is the lack of compassion that's expressed by politicians and business leaders alike. This essential virtue is what is required by our leaders to solve our many problems in the most sensible way. A pronounced example of this lack of compassion is expressed by abuse on animals in factory farms, prisoner living conditions, and the lack of help given to the poor. If we as a people can turn compassion into a public policy we will inevitably solve our own problems. As a candidate for State Representative, I plan to invoke this virtue into the political debate.
