Candidate for
State Representative; Pennsylvania State House of Representatives; District 189

A 20-year resident of Delaware Township, Liz Forrest has her own consulting and technology business which provides business management, technology consultation and training to clients in the United States and abroad. Working with clients in the communications, manufacturing, legal services, pharmaceutical, chemical and finance industries, her company also owns the rights to Aspen ipWorkflow, a web-based intellectual property management software package, which Forrest helped design in 2000 for Aspen Grove Inc.

Liz also served part time as legislative aide to former Rep. John Siptroth in the 189th District from 2005 to 2010, where she worked in a strictly non-partisan capacity with constituents, and advocated on a wide range of issues, including gas drilling, utilities, community development, seniors' concerns, veterans affairs and transportation. She was instrumental in the grant acquisition process for Akenac Park, emergency services equipment for Delaware Township and other county projects.

Originally a native of a small town in Virginia, where community and public service were duties to be revered and not condemned, Liz later lived for sixteen years in New York City where she worked as a singer, actress and writer, before finding her niche in technology. She possesses a BA in History from Old Dominion University and a BA in Music from The College of William & Mary, where she was a member of both Phi Alpha Theta Honorary History Fraternity and Pi Delta Epsilon Honorary Journalism Fraternity.
