Patti Borger is a successful Carbon County business owner and farmer. A graduate of the Carbon County Chamber of Commerce "Carbon Leadership" program, her community service experience also includes active leadership in Carbon County Democratic politics. She serves on the Carbon County Democratic Executive Board and is Area Vice-Chair for the Lehighton Area.

Patti's close involvement with the people and business leaders of Carbon County gives her many opportunities to hear what is important to them:

  • * Good, family-supporting jobs
  • * Restoring funding to Carbon County schools
  • * Stopping the rise in property taxes which is pushing seniors out of their homes and challenging all families
  • * Working with businesses to contribute to long-term success
  • * Protecting our natural resources--- the water, environment, game, and wild lands--- that make Carbon County unique and beautiful

Patti brings nearly thirty years of business experience to Harrisburg. Her "Home Interiors & Gifts" business was recognized as a national sales leader. She is former president of the Pennsylvania Tree Growers' Association, the first woman to hold that position. In this role, she oversaw the National Association's Convention at Split Rock Resort, in Lake Harmony, Carbon County, highlighting fifty years of progress in the industry.

Patti recently worked as a Human Resource Director, Community and Charitable Outreach Specialist, and Activity and Event Coordinator. She is a long-time resident of Carbon County. She owns and operates a tree farm in Mahoning Township with her husband, Kevin.
