Shall members of the legislative body of the City of Turlock be elected by districts described in Ordinance No. 1197CS and the Mayor of the City of Turlock be elected on a citywide basis by the voters of the entire city?

Meaning of Voting Yes/No
A YES vote on this measure means:
A "Yes" vote on Measure A (City of Turlock Ordinance No. 1197- CS) would change the manner in which City Council members are elected from "at large" to "by districts" and would comply with the California Voting Rights Act.

A NO vote on this measure means:
A "No" vote would leave the existing election process in place and would leave the City vulnerable to a legal challenge under the California Voting Rights Act.
