Smart Voter Political Philosophy for Bonnie Garcia

Candidate for
State Senator; District 28

This information is provided by the candidate

Now more than ever, we need a representative in Sacramento who understands our way of life and will fight to ensure our communities receive the support they need.

Public safety, education, the economy, and the protection of Prop 13 are not simply political talking points; they should be a direct responsibility of the state and our representatives. As our economy begins to recover, we need representatives who can help move the state forward responsibly by supporting the officers on the street, the students in the classroom, the businesses in our towns, and the rights of property owners, families, and seniors. As I have in the past, I will continue to fight for safer communities, a better public education system, and policies for job creation, while upholding commonsense policies that protect our residents.

People should always come first and every effort should be made to increase Californians' chances at attaining a fulfilling life. It is for this very reason and the honest, hardworking people in this district that I have decided to run for State Senate. I will take my 20+ years of experience working with cities, counties, and state leaders in order to effectively work across party lines for solutions that revitalize our economy.

I'd like to thank you for visiting my Smart Voter page. I am passionate about this campaign and your involvement, for without the support of the community I would not be running. Please check http://bonniegarcia.org/ often to hear more about what is happening in the region. It would be great to hear your thoughts on how we can best work to fix California!
