  • From 2006-2007, served as Santa Rosa's Vice Mayor
  • Served as Chair of the Sonoma County Private Industry Council, Chair of the Sonoma County Office of Education's Personnel Commission
  • Member of the Sonoma County 's Minority Citizens Advisory Committee of the Metropolitan Transportation Commission
