My name is Maxine Barboza. I am a member of Stewarts Point Kashia Band of Pomo Indians. I've lived here most of my 64 years. I have been on the Board for almost ten years. I also volunteer for the school lunch program for about two years. I enjoy cooking for the children. I am a grandmother of 12 children and I have 4 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews that go to Kashia School.

I was asked to be on the Board initially and have worked on the Board continuously for my full tenure. Over the years I have contributed my time and effort to promote fairness and excellence in the school. I want to continue to help the school and the children to excel and profit from a highly academic education.
