KELLY FERGUSSON... FIGHTING FOR YOU

A Voice for Our Neighborhoods: As a neighborhood advocate and your Councilwoman, I've championed preserving the unique neighborhood and small town character of Menlo Park, organizing thousands of residents to keep City Hall accountable when considering development projects that affect our quality of life. I'll continue engaging our neighborhood associations and the community in decision-making, ensuring your perspectives are considered by the City Council.

Fiscal Accountability: While I served on council, Menlo Park was a model in protecting your vital services while being fiscally responsible. While this economy and Sacramento's money grabs threaten the well-being of cities throughout California, we've maintained Menlo Park's AAA credit rating, implemented a 2-tier system of pension reform, and balanced City budgets without compromising the quality of core services. I'll continue my tradition of fiscally-accountable leadership to protect your services.

Maintaining Economic Health: As a neighborhood activist, I advocated to revitalize Menalto neighborhood stores near my home. As your Councilwoman, I've fought to support our neighborhood-serving businesses, invigorate our economy with partners like Tesla and Facebook, and launched Downtown Block Parties. I'm honored to be supported in my re-election by members of the small business community as Clark Kepler, Nick Sharma, and Kathleen Daly.

Fighting for Your Essential Services: Ensuring public safety continues to be my top priority--I'll fight to protect our 911 services, community and neighborhood policing, and safe traffic enforcement. We must continue to maintain programs that contribute to our Menlo Park way of life including fixing our streets and potholes, maintaining our parks, and expanding vital services for seniors, children and youth. As a parent of Grace and Elliot, I remain committed to strong, high quality schools and expanding our City-School partnerships.
