Develop and Implement the Following Priorities Immediately
Strategic Priorities:
  • Create Urgency to Improve Academic Performance

  • Improve Reading Proficiency (or Literacy Rates): A high number of students cannot read proficiently.

  • Retain New School Financial Analyst to Create: Proper Budget Forecast Models; Reserve Studies; and Long Term Maintenance Plan.

  • Identify New Resources and Needs for teachers and students. Increase Spending responsibly so that teachers can teach more effectively.

  • Build a New System of Continuous Academic Improvement at each school.

  • Form "Collaborative Groups" of Teachers and Parents who meet routinely and report to the board frequently.

  • Improve Communication and Sharing of Information.

  • Foster a Deeper Partnership within the Communities and local government.
