Stop Waste

I believe that our community has been wasting money by not modernizing our infrastructure and that our Community leaders need to do more to stop waste and fraud. Of all our property tax money only 39% goes strictly to services that benefit San Miguel; 16% goes to Paso Robles of which, several thousands of dollars every year goes to pay for the Nacimento pipeline, which we don't get any benefit from. The rest is lost in County General funds that go to benefit other towns. I will pursue an investigation into our property taxes and finances, and I will work to have that money return back to the people of San Miguel.

Stop the stop South County Bureaucrats

I believe that we have to restore pride in where we live and I believe that the solution to that is that our Town needs to be more independent from the county. The County has already started to install a program to make San Miguel pay the price of Paso Robles Economic Plan. San Miguelians are already paying the price for a water shortage caused by others and now the county wants to add on to it. Enough is enough, the county is not looking out for our best interests, we have the ability as a town to ensure better services but it has not happened. I will work hard to ensure that our community is no longer treated like a ragdoll for others.
