Retaining educators helps build a continuity of culture at each school site and save money. The San Francisco Unified School District loses ten to twenty thousand dollars for each teacher that leaves a classroom.

Prioritizing Student Support Services such as speech pathologists, librarians, nurses, psychologists and social workers ensures all students are receiving the support they need to be successful.

Dedicating more resources to pre-kindergarten and elementary reading and math programs increases every student's opportunity for success at the middle and high school levels.

Integrating restorative practice strategies into district-wide curriculum creates and maintains academic stability for students.
