"Law Enforcements Choice"

By John W. Minto

Candidate for Council Member; City of Santee

This information is provided by the candidate
A proven track record of protecting the community and supporting the needs of law enforcement.
EightEight years ago, with the support of the Deputy Sheriff's Association, I was elected to the Santee City Council. I promised truth, honesty and integrity, and that platform carried me through my second term. Community members, Santee Employees and colleagues agree I have lived up to my promises.

As Chairman of the Santee Community Oriented Policing Committee (COMPOC), I sponsored or supported laws that would protect the children of our community from sexual predators, prohibited the consumption of alcoholic beverages in certain parks; supported the graffiti tracker program; strengthened the Social Host ordinance; and created protocol for the arrest prosecution and incarceration for transients who are nuisances within the community.
