MARIA MARISCAL FOR HELIX WATER BOARD!

My career with the San Diego County Water Authority has allowed me to gain valuable experience to immediately help the Helix Water District with a wide range of critical issues, including:

• local water supply development
• budget analysis and development
• demand management & drought response
• emergency preparedness and response
• operations and maintenance
• recycling projects and programs

If elected, I will bring to the Helix Water Board a true understanding of what it takes to get things done. I can hit the ground running on a wide range of critical water issues, and my experience and strong relationships with water officials throughout California and the nation will serve the District well.

I understand the opportunities that exist to secure long-term reliable water supplies, and know what measures are needed to minimize water rate impacts. I know how to bring the best value to the District.

I am a 16-year Helix Water District resident and customer, a graduate of San Diego State, and I volunteer in the community with the United Way and the American Heart Association.
