Safe place for our Children

For our children and their children, Vista needs to expand its parks and recreational facilities. Our kids deserve safe places to play and enjoy their youth. As a youth coach, I see the impacts and the possibilities.
I have coached youth sports for the last 10 years and I feel I have made a positive impact on these children and consequently, our community. I think it is vital that our children have various outlets to play sports and other positve avenues to pursue their dreams. As president of one of the local Little Leagues, I was often frustrated that there were not enough fields for our children to practice and play their games. I look to continue to add park lands when possible and working with other organizations to provide more space in our City.
