Santa Clara is at a critical point in it development. What the City Council faces in the next four years will determine how well the residents are served. As a resident of Santa Clara for almost 30 years, my husband of 32 years and I have raised our family here. In that time, I have served in many roles, including 8 years on the Planning Commission, 5 years on the Historical and Landmarks Commission and over 3 years on the Architectural Review Committee. I am committed to the well-being of our community. I serve as a scout leader, teach computer science and math at Wilcox High School, Soroptimist member (local women's service club), advisor for the high school service club and HAM radio operator for emergency services (KI6FGS).

We need well planned development in our city which is harmonious with existing neighborhoods. We deserve careful planning and fiscal responsibility. Residents should be treat with respect and equality. I pledge to do this.
