Water Rates are outrageous, that is why I am running for the water board. I am not taking any money so I am not beholding to special interests or developers.

Is the current water board presenting the people? My promise to voters is that I will be your independent representative on the WMWD Board. To ensure local residents, property owners and businesses are always the agency's priority and my primary focus. Water must be affordable to residents and small business for our area to flourish.

I will listen to my continuants and work to be your voice on the board to keep costs and water rates down. We are paying far too much and I will vote No on any rate increases. I want everyone to know that I also struggle with the outrageous water fees. I pay a system charge of $96.86 and a water readiness to serve charge of $15.60 totaling $112.46 even if I don't use a drop of water.

I am strongly against the tiered rate system, rate increases and how they are handling the water rationing. I want to make a difference, to listen, to care and be your voice on the water board. A voice that matters.
