MY TOP PRIORITIES

Putting Orange first and upholding Orange's values. Protecting Orange taxpayers and their tax dollars. Keeping Orange safe and secure by maintaining public safety and infrastructure maintenance. Supporting businesses and working to attract new businesses to Orange. Identifying smart, fiscally responsible solutions to encourage job growth and investments in parks, libraries and infrastructure in our community. Being accountable to Orange residents and welcoming input.

PUBLIC SAFETY

The most basic responsibility of our city government is to provide for the safety of its residents. Prioritize for strong public safety and infrastructure within our tax structure. Invest in the tools and resources needed to minimize crime on our streets and provide a safe environment for our children.

FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY

Focus on a business approach to budgeting and planning. Invest in smart and efficient methods to ensure taxpayer dollars are going directly to the services provided. Set goals and make intelligent business decisions aimed at achieving those goals. Search for ways to lower the cost of government without sacrificing service. Promote a cost-effective and efficient government Balance the budget while maintaining the high level of service our community expects. Maintain high property values and quality neighborhoods.

BUSINESS

As a small business owner within the City of Orange, I know that small businesses are the engine of growth for our communities. They are the reasons that communities flourish. It is critically important to maintain a business-friendly environment. Promote a strong business community so that it thrives and prospers. Bring new business in and help create more jobs. Engage communities to support small businesses. Foster and support the start-up and growth of small businesses.

NEIGHBORHOODS & PROTECTING QUALITY OF LIFE

Keep our neighborhoods safe. Retain and enhance our parks, open space, libraries, and community events. Maintain property values and our quality neighborhoods Provide safe and reliable neighborhood services to taxpayers. Ensure that neighborhoods and communities are safe and well-maintained. Listen to the residents.
