I serve as your school board Trustee working to make our district more responsive to parents and taxpayers. I am holding our district and administrators accountable to be more fiscally responsible. One of my top priorities is making sure Anaheim schools are preparing our children to be competitive for future jobs. Today's employers want students with character, problem solving and communication skills. I am overseeing the implementation of new academic standards necessary for college and career success. I am also leading efforts to bring state-of-the-art facilities to our campuses. Our children need top quality resources including technology to compete in this competitive job market. I am making safer and cleaner schools including already bringing needed lighting onto a campus for after-school activities. As your trustee and the parent of two future AUHSD students, I am fighting also fighting to bring more art and music programs and support for our parents onto our campuses. I am honored to have the endorsement of Anaheim teachers and educational leaders. A bipartisan coalition of community and public safety leaders support me including Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez, Sheriff Sandra Hutchens and Senator Lou Correa. I humbly ask for your vote on November 4. Learn more at http://www.aljabbarforschoolboard.com
