I come from a multigenerational military family, and have worked for the Department of Defense for nearly 20 years. My wife, Tara, and I made Marina our home 11 years ago and proudly raise our children here.

For the last few years, while serving as a City Recreation and Cultural Services Commissioner and Sports Advisory Board member, I have seen annual budget cuts decimate recreation and public safety programs meant to serve Marina's diverse community, both today and tomorrow. I believe the time has come to return Marina to her citizens and their families, and work towards a brighter future.

As a resident, a parent, and a community volunteer, I believe passionate leadership, with ingenuity and integrity, will benefit Marina for EVERYONE, young and old, and I would be honored to have your support.

"Dan is, quite simply, one of the best men I've ever met. He doesn't do anything half-heartedly. If he's in, he's all in.

He loves his community, and truly believes he can make a difference. And when Dan decides he CAN do something, and tells you he WILL do something, watch out, because it's happening."
