Partner/Century City Law Firm and Private Practice +Specialized in civil litigation, non-profit organizations, and civil rights. 1976-1978; 1981-1994

Special Counsel/New York Governor Nelson Rockefeller + Reorganized the New York State Human Rights Commission and drafted a new human rights law for New York State. 1967

General Attorney/United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission Responsible for all EEOC litigation, final review of all EEOC Commissioner decisions, and negotiations that resulted in major policy or president ramifications with corporations and unions. 1965-1967

ADMINISTRATIVE

Executive Director/Greater Los Angles Urban Coalition + Accomplished: successfully lobbied for formation of US House of Representatives Oversight Subcommittee on Human and Civil Rights; improved student reading skills in the Los angles Unified School System; improved police-community relations in Venice, East, and South Central Los Angles; trained over 10,000 non-profit organizations in planning and grants development; and, helped establish the Black United Fund. Responsible for entire GLAUC program, including coordinating efforts of 63 member Board of Directors, which consisted of major corporate, labor, religious, minority community, political, educational and civic leaders.1969-1973

Country Director + United States Peace Corps + Responsible for Peace Corps program of approximately 200 volunteers in Fiji and Tuvalu. Under my direction, PC Fiji/Tuvalu was the highest rated program worldwide by Peace Corps Volunteers. 1978-1980

Candidate + United States Congress + Successful in five person contested primary election. Lost the general election to the incumbent Congressman 1974

Deputy Campaign Manager/Eugene McCarthy for President + Responsible for Senator McCarthy's campaign in Southern California. Thereafter, traveled with the Senator until the Democratic National Convention, at which I was an adviser. 1968
