Fiscal conservative - Our city must have a balanced budget each year.

I represent the citizens who elect me to office. I listen to the people who I represent and will vote to support their collective position on issues discussed in the council.

I will work with the city council to responsibly develop the former Fort Ord property in ways that bring new revenues to the city while preserving the environment. I believe the new development must link to the current city in ways that promote pedestrian and bicycle traffic. The new development must conform to the city's long range plan and all California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) requirements.

Del Rey Oaks has earned a reputation for being a safe place to live. Our police help citizens and kindly enforce laws. I want to keep and promote that atmosphere.
