I was born in a Bellflower hospital, but my home growing up was in North Long Beach near South Street and Orange Ave.

I have earned dual degrees. I am certified to do tax preparation and soon will be graduating from an ABA certified paralegal program. I have no intentions of using these certifications to earn income, but only to use the knowledge gained to help decisions I make in business.

I am the Chairman and CEO of 5 highly successful business disciplines. I will not have to rely on board compensations to sustain my life.

I will conserve every drop of water and save every single penny from being wasted. My major goals are to reduce water rates and the per diems paid to board members.

My passion is water since a 4th grade field trip to a water waste treatment plant. I attended my first WRD board meeting in 1995, I was 9 years old, when the office was still situated in Cerrtios. I've attended over 30 WRD board meetings and attended every State of the District address since 2009. My candidacy is endorsed by the WRD General Manager in 1995, Fred Cardenas.

I have been a Water Conservation Consultant since the launch of my firm Water Xericape Advisors in 2006, one of the 1st Water Xeriscape firms in California. I also launched the nationally recognized ConserveCAh2o.com that year.

I have been on many water tours underwritten by the Metropolitan Water District. My firm is a member of the MWD Vendor Outreach Program since 2007. I know many of the important decision makers on a first name basis. Also I have had many one on one meetings with the CEOs/General Managers of the MWD, the largest water agency in the World, in their offices to discuss water issues and team building for water projects. I witnessed first hand the building of the Eastside Reservoir in Hemet from beginning to end.

I became fully involved as an industry Water Consultant in 2008, consulting on pipeline and desalination projects in Mexico for concerned businesses and citizens.

I have since participated in vendor reviews and team selections as a consultant, as well as being an advocate on water projects in Costa Rica and the Philippines. Especially the Visayas where groundwater sources are threatened by sea water intrusion is of a major concern. This is very similar to the same problems I will be addressing as a board member at the Water Replenishment District of Southern California.

I am endorsed by many significant members of the water community, many with over 20 years experience. I have the unique ability to receive input in search of solutions from around the world because of the internet and my one on one relationships built with industry leaders around the world.

In 2006 and 2009 I received the California Water Ratepayers Alliance's Ratepayer Advocate of the Year award. In 2006 for being the catalyst of a water and voter rights bill AB 1140 which restored rights to millions of renters, mobile home and condominium owners that had been lost almost 100 years prior. In 2009 I was recognized as the initial whistle blower of the shenanigans now verified at the Central Basin Municipal Water District that has led to indictments.

Just recently the Long Beach Grunion Gazette likened me to a Water Prodigy. Water watchdog organization, California Water District Guardian has also endorsed my candidacy.
