Todd White has enjoyed being a lifelong resident of El Dorado County. Being a 3rd generation El Dorado County citizen he considers himself continually blessed to be born and raised, educated, and involved in the best community in California. Todd has been involved in the community since his youth. It was as a young child when he first learned responsibility and money management while raising market hogs and pack goats as a member of the El Dorado County 4-H program. Through the 4-H program he worked diligently with the El Dorado County Board of Supervisors and other community members to establish the El Dorado County Youth Commission, which is still working hard to address youth related issues in our county.

Todd has been an elected member of the El Dorado Union High School District since December 2010. During his service on the high school board he has advocated for expanded educational opportunities, fiscal responsibility, and increased community participation. He has also advocated for parents to have the right to send their children to the school that is closest to their home.

Prior to serving on the high school board, Todd served on the El Dorado County Parks and Recreation Commission and the El Dorado County Community Action Council from 2005 to 2007. In his professional life Todd has dedicated himself to advocating for young people. He currently is employed by Big Brothers Big Sisters of El Dorado County, and prior to his employment there he advocated for the full inclusion of those with developmental disabilities at Mother Lode Rehabilitation Enterprises (M.O.R.E.).

When Todd is not working or serving on the school board, he enjoys being involved in the community. He serves on the El Dorado County Junior Livestock Auction Committee, Shingle Springs/Cameron Park Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, Foster Awareness Network Past President, and enjoys being involved with the local Boys & Girls Club.
