Since 2011, I have served as Trustee for Antioch, Bay Point, Bethel Island, Brentwood, Byron, Clyde, Discovery Bay, Knightsen, Oakley and Pittsburg. I am honored and wish to continue representing your interest in educating our children.

I have ensured transparency and accountability giving highest priority to upholding the California Education Code in my decisions which include review and approval of budgets, educational programs, policy and regulation changes; as well as adjudication of appeals on expulsions, inter-district transfers and charter school applications.

As the mother of two children who recently entered adulthood, the struggles of our youth are very real to me. We must continue to provide relevant knowledge and hands-on skills for our students to thrive in today's information-driven world market.

As an immigrant, five-time foster parent and working-class employee at the Orin Allen Youth Facility and Children and Family Services, I bring real life experience and practical ideas to achieve fiscal sobriety, community interaction / partnership and academic excellence.

If re-elected, I will continue to work to maintain fiscal solvency, improve academic performance, provide career-oriented education and promote transparency and accessibility. YOU, the public, will know that I serve as your representative.
