Charles Ramsey + Real Change, Real Leadership to Build a Stronger Richmond

When I was first elected to the School Board, the District faced bankruptcy and an academic crisis. It wasn't easy, but I've gotten things done and made a real difference for our kids. Working together, we rebuilt or remodeled nearly every school in Richmond and the district, increased test scores and graduation rates, and kept our adult education program open.

Now I want to take my dedication to our children, enthusiasm for the future, and energy and put it to work moving Richmond forward.

My goals include balancing the budget, investing in our roads and transit systems, encouraging economic development, and bringing jobs to our city. I will use my passion and drive to build a stronger, more economically vibrant city that we can all be proud of.
