Low Rates - The rates we pay for sanitation are the single largest expense on our tax bill. Nothing else comes close. And, the Board just voted to raise rates again! I am committed to keeping rates low.

Excessive Board Benefits - Current Board members have some of the best health benefits and vision and dental services of any other elected officials. Board members are able to continue to receive these lavish benefits for the rest of their (and their spouse's) lives, if they become vested in these benefits. I believe these benefits are excessive and I promise to reject excessive health benefits if elected.

Conservation - The District has a state-of-the-art treatment facility that treats waste water to a clarity higher than state and federal standards for clean water. In this severe drought, I will search for solutions that allow this water to be used for irrigation and other purposes.
