The Martinez Unified School Board has diligently worked toward creating a 21st century teaching and learning environment for all students in Martinez.I am proud to have been a member of the Martinez Unified School Board these past 4 years. We have accomplished many significant advances that have improved the learning environment for our students and have opened up the world of technology and cyber knowledge to our schools. In the past 4 years we have installed solar at nearly all of our school sites, we have improved technology infrastructures to allow for 1:1 computing at several sites and grade levels, we have completed the Performing Arts Building at Alhambra High School, enhanced the frontage of Las Juntas Elementary, improved the traffic flow at Las Juntas, John Muir and John Swett with the assistance of the Martinez Police Department and the City, and addressed safety issues at all of our schools. |
