For the last three years I have been the only Board Member with children attending school in the Paradise Unified School District. I am a voice for the children.For the last three years I have been the only Board Member with children attending school in the Paradise Unified School District. I'm not just a Board Member, I'm a Parent. My oldest child graduated from PHS in 2011, and my two younger children now attend Paradise Intermediate School. I know our School District and what is needed, but most importantly, I know our students. As a school board member, I have worked hard to keep and restore libraries, art, music, sports, and industrial arts programs that keep our students interested in school and prepare them for the future. I support and advocate community involvement in our schools, and listen to the concerns and problems of the community to make our schools a better place for our children. I am not afraid to ask questions and make tough decisions, and I do my research and stay informed so I can make the right decisions. I understand the challenges ahead. As a School Board Candidate, I am prepared to meet these challenges with steadfast determination and to always be "a voice for the children." |
