Candidate for
Council Member; City of Chico

As a local business owner and longtime citizen of Chico, I have a deep concern for the public safety of our citizens and families.

During this financial crisis, the citizens of Chico asked for Public Safety to be the main priority. We must put more officers on the streets of Chico and restore our vital law enforcement programs which have been cut due to the past mistakes of the City Council, resulting in huge crime increases.

We must work with local businesses, maintain strict financial controls, and have a Council closely involved in city finances so we can restore funding for Public Safety. I have already taken an active leadership role in searching out additional revenue sources and effective cost-cutting methods. These will increase our revenue and set us on the path to fiscal health.

I am the Producer of the Chico Home and Garden Show, the Sponsorship Coordinator for the Silver Dollar Fair, a graduate of Chico State, a husband, a father, and an active member of our community. I know with hard work, determination and accountability, we will restore our city budget, make improvements to Public Safety, and start long-term budgeting for infrastructure improvements.
