For all of my professional career I have been a communicator. My goal has always been to make a difference in people's lives by ensuring they have the information they need for making informed decisions the affect their lives. I did it as a television news journalist for both local Spanish and English television new broadcasts, as a court interpreter and as a video producer and interviewer.

I've decided to run for a position on the Rent Stabalization Board as a Commissioner because I feel I can continue on this path of social justice that fights to give everyone a fair chance to compete under the rules that exist as well as provide tenants and landlords with the information they need to make informed decisions. I understand the obstacles, problems and opportunities that exist for landlords and tenants alike. I want to be a voice for a broad range of people living in Berkeley.
