United States Representative; District 45

Conservative Republican I am running for Congress because I care. I care about my 3 children and my 2 granddaughters; the course our nation is on is taking away their rights to prosper. We need solutions. We need leadership. I will use the authority and resources of my office, coupled with my military and business leadership expertise to craft solutions to our nation's problems.

• JOBS....are what Americans want and need. I will work tirelessly to help create jobs as quickly as possible by lowering the burden of regulations and taxes on small business.
• I will work to dramatically simplify the tax code; we must have a fair tax system where everyone has skin in the game. Get rid of the corporate loopholes.
• I will support legislation to reduce the federal government's involvement in education, work for local control, and quality teaching.
• I will work together with anyone willing to craft solutions to this healthcare mess while keeping the shared goal of providing quality, affordable healthcare for all Americans.
• I will personally take it upon myself to work with the NIH, the American Cancer Society and the Alzheimer's Association to find a cure for Alzheimer's, prostate cancer, and breast cancer, like we did with polio.
• I will make it my priority to take care of our wounded warriors and all military veterans.
• I will challenge the big banks to favor Main Street, not Wall Street We need new blood and we need new leadership in Washington. Our party was founded in 1854 as a party of freedom and progress, with Abraham Lincoln as the first Republican president. It was Republicans in Congress that authored the 13, 14, and 15 amendments, giving the slaves citizenship, voting rights, and due process of law. We must now free those dependent on government and those enslaved in debt.
