Questions & Answers

1. In this time of high unemployment and budget deficits, what are the most important steps that should be taken to improve our nation’s economy and sustain job creation?

We need to implement a better trade tariff system to keep the international manufacturing market fair and balanced. We also need to give tax breaks and incentives for companies to bring overseas jobs here and/or to KEEP them here!

2. What, if any, changes should be made to federal health care policies or programs?

It needs to be reworked to allow private insurance to work side by side with federal insurance. Every industry (including medical) has always thrived in a fair and free market. I think that "obamacare" is too restrictive to the market.

3. What are your priorities with respect to our nation’s energy policy?

we need to continue our focus on clean and renewable energy. I think we are headed in the right direction.

4. What, if any, changes should be made with respect to our nation’s security, including our national defense or anti-terrorism measures?

Since 9/11 we have improved our security measures drastically! I think we need to continue to improve on our national boarder protection and bring our overseas troops home.

5. What is your position on the issue of immigration reform? What, if any, changes to legislation or policy would you support?

The immigration system needs to be streamlined to allow a better process to attain citizenship. Our boarders need to be secured better and we need to deal with the number of illegal persons head-on.
