Investing in education is the key to California's future. I am running for San Joaquin County Board of Education to ensure tax dollars are focused on the classroom so our children have the tools to succeed as adults.

As an attorney and small business owner, I understand the importance of maintaining fiscal responsibility while providing efficient service. I have the necessary experience to apply cost-effective analysis to budgeting decisions and my legal background will help in setting policies and procedures. I'll use this knowledge to make sure our schools are first-rate.

I come from a family of educators and have carried on this legacy as a volunteer in our public school system. In addition to practicing law, I currently teach English to preschool students and promote DUI prevention by speaking to schools throughout San Joaquin County. I want to continue my service to the community as your governing Board member.

My priorities will be to:
-Improve student achievement
-Maintain fiscal accountability and budget transparency
-Ensure taxpayer dollars are spent on students, not the bureaucracy
-Increase vocational training
-Encourage parental involvement
