Occupation: Mother/Retired Manager
Age: 56
Education and Qualifications:
My leadership as a neighborhood advocate, community volunteer and Chief of Staff to a San Jose councilmember enable me to navigate city government to better serve all of us. I am a 33 year resident of District 3, mother and grandmother. I am uniquely prepared to represent you and will bring people together as we move forward.

My priorities: Ensure residents are safe by hiring more police, increasing neighborhood patrols, reducing emergency response times; funding code enforcement, park rangers and anti-gang programs; continue building a strong economy that provides opportunity for residents and businesses of all backgrounds; support after school homework centers and sports programs to help our children succeed and stay out of trouble; develop permanent, real solutions for the homeless.

I founded my neighborhood association, managed a neighborhood business association, and owned a small business. I am the leader who can balance the needs of neighborhoods and businesses when deciding complex issues. I will ensure we deliver city services effectively while being fiscally responsible.

My husband and I raised our family downtown. I'm endorsed by elected officials and more than 200 community leaders representing all aspects of San Jose. I would be honored to serve you.
