Occupation: School Trustee/Businesswoman
Age: 55
Education and Qualifications:
I came to America with my family to seek a better life - and I found it. Thanks to hard work and opportunity, I've been blessed to graduate from college, work for the City of San Jose, start my own business, and win election to the East Side Union High School Board.

But today many are not getting the same opportunity. I'll push to ensure District 7 residents have better schools, more businesses and better paying jobs. I'll fight to improve housing availability, and invest in community resources like the Cultural Garden, local parks and libraries.

I'm proud to have the support of former San Jose Vice Mayor Pat Dando, Councilmembers Kansen Chu and Pete Constant, US Hispanic Chamber founder John Zamora, and Little Saigon San Jose Foundation President Barry Do.

I'll work with these, and other, leaders to help schools by strengthening the truancy program to get kids back in class where they can learn; focus economic development on small businesses that create good-paying jobs; and restore police patrols with an emphasis on neighborhoods - so they can fight crime and be more responsive to the community.

With your help and your vote, we can bring the community together and keep San Jose moving forward.
