It is a privilege to serve as your County Clerk-Recorder. With your support we can continue to improve our department and make it even more cost effective. I am dedicated to making public records more accessible and available, while maintaining confidentiality and security and consistently providing high quality service. I have served 20 years at the County of Orange with 14 years experience in the Clerk-Recorder's Department. I am a dedicated hands-on manager who leads by example. I'm proud of the new monthly Saturday service I implemented for customers who cannot come in during the week. We provide marriage licenses and ceremonies, passports and copies of birth, death and marriage certificates. This expanded service is completely self-funded by user fees. I am endorsed by County Supervisors Shawn Nelson(Chairman),Janet Nguyen,Todd Spitzer,Pat Bates, Sheriff Hutchens, District Attorney Tony Rackauckas,Congressman Ed Royce, Senators Mimi Walters and Bob Huff, Assembly members Don Wagner and Diane Harkey, and dozens of city and community leaders. My father was an American soldier killed in Vietnam. As a Vietnamese-American happily married for 24 years, I greatly value the contributions of all my fellow Americans. I would be proud to continue to be Orange County Clerk-Recorder. I humbly ask for your vote. |
