  • On Wednesday April 23, 2014 The Californian and it's sister publication, El Sol will join with the National Steinbeck Center to hose a forum. The event is free and open to the public and will run from 6:30 to about 9 p.m. Candidates will be asked question from both a panel of reporters and the audience. KION-TV/Telemundo 23 and Entravision will also be assisting. Spanish translation will be available. Questions, contact Jeff Mitchell at The Californian. The location is 1 Main Street in Salinas, CA.
  • The public is invited on Wednesday, May 7th, to attend this forum. Forum starts at 7 p.m. at the Community Justice Center Auditorium of the Monterey College of Law. This is located at 100 Colonel Durham Street in Seaside, CA, on the former Fort Ord. This forum is co-sponsored with the Monterey County Bar Association.
