In 2006 Frank Scotto and I were elected to keep special interests out of city council decisions. Let's not go back to those times.In 2006 Frank Scotto and I were elected to keep special interests out of city council decisions. In that election Torrance unions were contributing heavily to our opponents. Mayor Scotto and I were not endorsed by any of the Torrance unions. The city council, and I have been able to accomplish so much over the last eight years because we did re-establish your trust in our council and Torrance does have a bright future, but we need the right leadership to guide it.
